I am an early bird an I am excited about it. Check in is quick, food is hot, lines are short and the theater is clean. While crowds abound, the workers are present and makes this a great place to enjoy your movie experience. Although I love streaming at home, I still enjoy getting out and watching movies on the big screen.

I wish the inside of this theater was as awesome as the outside! This location definitely needs some updating as they have chairs falling apart and some of their theaters don't even have reclining chairs. Based on other locations, this location should up their cleaning standards and do something about the overflowing trash as well. It was still a good experience and I appreciate the ample amount of theaters and showings. Staff was kind. I do have Regal Unlimited instead of AMC's AList, even though there are way more AMC locations. Regal Unlimited makes movie going easier and cheaper. It pays for itself with 2-3 visits a month. Matinee pricing is about $13 per movie and the regular price is $16-17. Regal Unlimited is about $25 per month. You can watch as many movies as you want in a day, week, or month. I often take a free day and plan on watching 2-3 movies back to back. Tickets are purchased at the concession stand. I usually go there instead of paying the 0.50 charge for online booking convenience. It's easy and quick when the line isn't long. You may want to bring a light jacket or cardigan because the air conditioning can be cold depending on the day. Parking is easy in their huge lot. Sadly, this location doesn't have a ton of dining/shopping options right outside the door like the one in Green Hills.

We've been giving the whole "Regal Unlimited" thing a trial run this spring/summer since the math checked out (we knew we'd see at least two prime-time movies per month this summer which equals the cost of the subscription). As someone who wants to get the most bang for my buck (and as someone who loves movies), I'm already doing my best to exceed that value by seeing movies I wouldn't normally shell out theater bucks for and have thus seen a couple of movies at every Regal in the middle TN area this month. Each has their pros and cons, and while most of the big things are the same there's a surprising lack of consistency on several details. Regal Hollywood 27 is solid. It's like all the others in that your best bet is always to purchase your tickets ahead of time via the app--the ticket sales counter will indeed be closed as it is at most chain theaters for the past few years. You can purchase your tickets at the concession stand, but other than to save a buck (or 0.50 if you're Unlimited) on the convenience fee, why would you? ALL seats are reserved, so you might as well pick yours out (and make sure they're available) before trekking over. Concessions are a tad high as they are everywhere, but discounted on Tuesdays and if you purchase with your loyalty card (the one that is free for everyone), the points towards free popcorn and drinks racks up surprisingly quickly. They're Pepsi products only when it comes to drinks, which is fairly limited. The staff I've dealt with here have always been friendly. As at most of these places, a lot of them tend to trend younger and are newer to working so have some patience especially if the lines are backed up. What's different at this one? Well, the menu is more extensive than most other Regals in the area. You can get pretzel bites, hot dogs, and nachos. There are several Regals in the area that have not added those back to the menu. The AC tends to run higher here than at others, for some reason. Some rooms have recliner seats and the ones that don't seem to have these weird sort of gamer seats that while comfortable, don't recline. There are more expensive Regals in the area that are still running with the ancient less comfortable basic seats. There's plenty of parking here as well. It's a solid chain theater and the Unlimited plan is worth its value if you like to go to the movies a few times a month. This location is solidly in the middle to upper tier of chain theater locations in Nashville.

Drive out here for the 4DX Experience, to watch Avatar since we don't have this type of thing in the Boro. We enjoyed the experience, the theater was clean and HUGE. The popcorn fresh and everyone looked like they were enjoying their jobs. It is a way better experience when the employees actually enjoy working for a company.
